A lot of the existing networking going on was geared up to the bigger businesses and didn’t really suit small businesses, and often it was costing anything from £700 to £1000 a year. They realised that there was a unique opportunity for subscription free, low-cost networking and decided to set up a non-profit organisation. Even better, they both wanted to support local charities. Giving back to the community and helping local businesses grow stronger together was their motivation.
